Just a 15-minute bike ride from our farm lies one of the most charming and delightful restaurants in the region: Pillehill. Nestled on a small hill in the rolling landscape of Skåne, with sweeping views all the way to the Baltic Sea, Pillehill offers not only top-class cuisine, but a complete experience for all the senses.
Getting There – The Journey is Part of the Experience
On a mild summer evening, we left the kids at home (grandma from Germany was visiting) and set off by bike. The ride takes you along quiet country roads, past fields, meadows, and picturesque southern Swedish farms. The route alone puts you in the right mood.
Once you arrive, you’re rewarded with a stunning panorama. Our tip: Take your time and start with a drink on the terrace. The view over Skåne’s countryside is something truly special.
A Dinner to Remember
Pillehill offers seasonal tasting menus with either 5 or 8 courses – carefully crafted and beautifully presented. We chose the 5-course menu, priced at 850 SEK. For 750 SEK, you can also add an exceptional wine pairing, curated by the in-house sommelier – which we highly recommend.
Our dinner included:
- Löjrom with smetana and crispy potatoes
- Chilled cucumber soup with mint and roasted goat cheese
- Corn-fed chicken with seasonal accompaniments
- And to finish: a blackberry dessert that was pure perfection.
Every course was balanced, elegant, and a feast for the eyes and the palate.

If you prefer not to cycle, Pillehill also offers a shuttle service, making it easy to enjoy the wine pairing without worry.
