An Afternoon at Vellingeblomman

An Afternoon at Vellingeblomman – Perfect for Families

On Sweden’s National Day, we took a spontaneous trip to Vellingeblomman. It turned out to be a real highlight for our two boys!

Vellingeblomman

Vellingeblomman is a colorful mix of a huge garden center, home decor shop, café, and adventure playground. Our boys especially loved Bamse’s Garden – a place to climb, explore, and, with a bit of luck, even meet Bamse himself. The Fantasy Garden was also a big hit, with hidden figures and a giant ivy-covered dinosaur.

By the way: Vellingeblomman is worth a visit all year round. At Christmas, the grounds are transformed into a magical winter world – Tomtebyn, the largest Christmas trail in Northern Europe, enchants with lights, moving gnomes, and cheerful music. In autumn, the site turns spooky with one of Europe’s biggest Halloween exhibitions – complete with a spooky tunnel, special effects, and lots of fun decoration ideas.

If you need a break, the cozy café offers delicious cakes, homemade ice cream, and even weekend brunch.

Conclusion: Vellingeblomman is a place where children marvel, parents relax, and the whole family has a great time.
