Mossbystrand is one of our favorite beaches
Today we headed back to Mossbystrand – just 15 minutes from our farm. We’ve been here before, but every time we step out of the car and see the sea, we’re amazed all over again.
The wide, white sandy beach has such a peaceful atmosphere that you instantly relax – and even on warm summer days, it never feels crowded. For the kids, it’s perfect: Henri and Hauke ran straight to the sand, digging, building castles, and splashing in the water.
A special highlight this year is the new pier, inaugurated in 2025. Of course, we had to try it out – walking all the way to the end and jumping straight into the Baltic Sea is pure joy.
There’s also a large free parking area and a small snack bar right by the beach, serving sandwiches, fish and chips, ice cream, and other treats.
For us, Mossbystrand is a little piece of holiday magic right on our doorstep. We love digging our toes into the sand, listening to the waves, and knowing that in just 15 minutes, we can be back home on the farm.
Simply a perfect afternoon.
